The Great British Business Expo
We had an amazing day at the GBBE on Wednesday, November 18th. Out of 298 registered attendees we had 294 attend – a fantastic 98.7% turnout!
One of our attendees messaged us with this:
"I just want to congratulate you on the success of yesterday's Great British Expo - What an amazing event and I am so happy I attended. Met so many lovely people - what a breath of fresh air - especially with the way things are at the moment. Thank you so much for making it happen."
The camaraderie on the day was a joy to behold and all our expo booth hosts reported fantastic engagement, new business opportunities, and connections. We will be running it all again next year on March 31st, so if you'd like to book an Expo Booth, run a Workshop, or deliver a keynote please get in touch.
You can view some of the feedback in this LinkedIn post.

Nov 25th: Andy Clayton on "How to spend more time doing what you love."
Our Guest on Episode 19 of Business Breakfast TV is Andy Clayton, Founder at Sweetspot on "How to spend more time doing what you love."
Great entrepreneurs understand that at the heart of success lies a simple mindset - disciplined focus on the few activities that we are good at, enjoy, and which add the most value (our ’Sweetspot'), and the ruthless removal of everything else. We know this, and yet still find it hard to do. In this workshop, we follow an exercise to take us through this process, and explore why we don't do it more - what gets in the way?
Entrepreneurs regularly get a 100x ROI from this workshop, meaning that from 1 hour spent, they save >100 hours per month. The exercise is also valuable to do with your team, so you can understand each team members’ Sweetspot, and improve their productivity. We have found that teams that spend 1 hour on Sweetspot can get an immediate productivity improvement of at least 5-10% across the Company.

Dec 2nd: Alastair Dryburgh on "This Is Not A Recession."
Our Guest on Episode 20 of Business Breakfast TV is Alastair Dryburgh on "This Is Not A Recession."
The crisis we are living through may feel like a recession, but it is something fundamentally different, something that needs to be handled in a completely different way. The recession playbook - tighten up, hunker down and wait for the recovery - will not work. The recession playbook won't work. You need to:
Start thinking like a startup again; Forget everything you think you knew; Be profoundly wary of specialist advice; Distrust anything that looks like "industry best practice"; Seek help and guidance from people who know less about your business than you do.
Alastair Dryburgh is an expert in special circumstances; turnarounds, breakthroughs, breakouts, rethinks, reinventions. Anything but business as usual. He is the author of two books, Business Remastered, and Everything You Know About Business Is Wrong, and a former longstanding contributor to Management Today and Forbes. One of his clients commented:
"We have the ability to look into our clients' businesses and see things that they can't because they are too close. It was amazing how an outsider was able to do the same for us, particularly an outsider who draws on multiple different sources. I have never met anyone like Alastair who can bring ideas from psychology, sociology, philosophy, and even management theory to bear productively on business issues."
